We are currently seeking Per Diem Speech-Language Pathologists in Brooklyn to provide direct services through our Early Intervention (EI), Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE), and/or our Committee on Special Education (CSE) programs. Immediate full-time or part-time positions are available throughout the Bronx, Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. Services can be provided in home-based, school-based, or center-based settings at Watch Me Grow’s sensory gyms! The Speech-Language Pathologists and Clinical Fellows are supervised by a Licensed Speech-Language Pathologists. Cases available in Williamsburg/Greenpoint areas with opportunities in other neighborhoods.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Accurately assess the child’s needs and progress.
Provide individualized treatment plans for each child.
Set school oriented and realistic goals for child to achieve.
Properly document all sessions and submit all required paperwork according to schedule
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:
Minimum Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Knowledge of New York State laws/ regulations to Speech-Language Pathology
Proficiency in note and report writing
Great interpersonal and communication skills, responsive and courteous.
Experience working with children birth to 5 years old
Qualifications for CPSE and CSE Programs
Must have New York State Licensure and TSSLD/TSSLH
Must be agreeable to travel
Must NOT currently be or have been a DOE employee in the past 365 days
