About Hedges Regional Speech & Hearing Center
In our 50+ years of service to NW Oklahoma, Hedges is a nonprofit United Way Agency. Currently we have 4 SLPs and one Audiologist. All of our SLPs have been full-time with Hedges over 10 years and at this time work with mainly children either at Hedges or in a local school system. Because we are a nonprofit, we really strive to have a caring and friendly atmosphere for both patients and employees. Insurance or Medicaid billing is handled by office staff and not the professionals!
We were originally part of Phillips University's Department of Communication, training SLPs and Audiologists. Later we were spun off as a separate nonprofit serving the communication needs of our area. We continue to focus on the importance of looking at the patients as individuals and our employees as valuable members of our organization. We have solid benefits and have the support of our board committed to making Hedges a great place to work!
