The candidate must possess a Ph.D. in Audiology, Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
This is a twelve-month, tenure-track position at the rank of associate or full professor as determined by the research/scholarly publication records, research grant procurements and academic achievements. Evidence of academic administrative experience, research/scholarly achievements, engaged/ongoing research, experience and accomplishments obtaining and administering extramurally-funded research grants and an excellent teaching record is required.
Reporting to the Dean of the School of Applied Sciences, the primary responsibility will include providing leadership and visionary direction to the academic department, research units and speech and hearing clinic and labs. Additional responsibilities include personnel administration, budgeting, planning, accreditation, assessment, development/fundraising, sponsored program activities, agency outreach, alumni relations, enhancing scholarly activities within the department, fostering positive/collegial relationships and other duties as assigned.
