As an SLP with the Center for Pediatric Therapies, you will be able to refine your skills as a pediatric specialist and collaborate with other SLPs, OTs, and PTs to ensure the best outcome for each child.
The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients according to ASHA standards and Virginia regulations. As well, the Speech-Language Pathologist must set realistic and achievable goals for their patients, document and record the patient’s condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate speech-language pathology method. The SLP works with an interdisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, autism specialists, as well as administrative billing staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for each patient.
