Position: Speech-Language Pathologist Department/School: Grades Pre K- 12 Immediate Supervisor: Elementary Principals Date: July 2016 Nature of work: Utilizing leadership, advocacy, and collaboration, school-based speech-language pathologist at CAC will provide prevention, assessment, and remediation services for students who exhibit difficulties in the areas of language, speech, voice, and fluency. These services are designed to help children meet their educational goals. Below are the major functions of the speech-language pathologist employed at CAC. The Speech-Language Pathologist is an integral member of the Pre K4 -Year 12 service team and the elementary support services team. In cooperation with the teams, the Speech-Language Pathologist provides Speech/Language Service to students, Pre K4 - Year 12. A. Major Function: Planning and Oversight B. Cairo American College enrolls approximately 850 students in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12.
