Licensed in New York state as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) or eligible for CF
Must have normative vision, hearing, strength, and agility in order to meet routine and emergency needs and safety of children and fellow staff.
Per State Education Department regulations all employees are subject to clearance through the State Central Register of Child Abuse / Maltreatment and fingerprint supported criminal history background check.
Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders.
Familiarity with evidence-based practice, which subsumes experience in data collection, summary, and evaluation methods, is desirable.
Additional Salary Information: Salary based on 12 month, full time position dependent upon qualifications and experience.

The Children's Unit for Treatment and EvaluationEstablished in 1975, the Children’s Unit for Treatment and Evaluation (CUTE) provides intensive educational services to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders, as well as related behavioral/emotional disorders on a full day, 12-month basis. CUTE functions with the dual status of a private, State Education Department certified school (NYS L...egislature-1977) and a University program.
