In this role, you will provide diagnostic evaluations of the auditory and vestibular systems and aid in assessing the neurological status of adults and children. You will provide direction, counseling, and recommendations regarding the rehabilitation of hearing impaired patients. In addition, you will determine whether severely hearing impaired patients are candidates for cochlear implant surgery and will uphold Kaiser Permanente policies and procedures, principles of responsibilities, and applicable state, federal, and local laws.
A master’s or doctorate degree in audiology
A current California Audiologist license
A Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
A National Provider Identifier Number
One year of experience as an Audiologist preferred

In this role, you will plan, develop, implement, evaluate, and supervise the audiology service delivery and quality assurance program. You will develop and implement programs of peer review and in-service education as well as participate in short and long range planning for improving delivery accessibility of service in the Audiology department. In addition, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive audiological case management which includes administering diagnostic audiological tests that allow the differentiation between types of hearing disorders, coordinating, and interpreting test results, consulting with and recommending optimum treatment program on hearing disorders to physicians.
At least two years of experience within the last three years as an audiologist
A master’s degree in audiology
A current California State License in Audiology
California hearing aid dispenser’s license may be required
National Provider Identifier
Leadership and supervisory experience preferred
Proficient in diagnostic evaluation of hearing, prevention, habilitation, and rehabilitation services for auditory problems
