The Department of Speech-Language Pathology invites applications for nine-month, tenure-track positions for assistant/associate/full professor beginning August 1, 2018. We are seeking innovative, energetic professionals interested in helping us develop a dynamic new program. Clinical faculty must have at least a Master’s in SLP (or related field), CCC-SLP, 5 years clinical experience, and 2 years experience supervising students/CFs. Academic faculty must have a doctorate, CCC-SLP, and a record of teaching, research, and scholarly achievement commensurate with appointment. All faculty members are expected to teach courses in the graduate and undergraduate programs, advise students, maintain an active research agenda, oversee student research, and provide clinical supervision. Successful candidates must demonstrate a commitment to Christ-centered Liberal Arts education, Christian service, the mission of Faulkner University, and the mission of the Department of Speech-Language Pathology. The Department of Speech Language Pathology at Faulkner University is developing a new MA/MS SLP program. We are currently a Candidacy Applicant with the CAA and have been granted an accelerated review. Our first cohort is slated to begin August 2018.
