Exciting opportunity to join a progressive and enthusiastic team of 10 audiologists within our Center for Audiology & Speech Pathology at UTMB Health. UTMB is a leading academic health sciences center located on a barrier island along the Texas Gulf Coast, approximately 50 miles south of Houston. Galveston Island has 32 miles of beachfront, winter temperatures ranging from 50's - 80's, and over 550 historical landmarks. The island has a year round population of 60,000 with 6.5 million visitors per year.
The Center provides a full range of audiological services to patients of all ages (infants to geriatrics) in state of the art facilities.
Audiological evaluation for pediatric to geriatric patients
Additional opportunities include medical resident and medical student teaching, preceptor opportunities with 4th year audiology externs, and opportunities to participate in clinical research and program development.
