Surgical Education Specialist
Primary responsibilities of the Surgical Education Specialist are to develop and deliver world-class hearing implant surgical education programs for staff tasked with providing surgical support, as well as surgeons; serve as a mentor, coordinate, and track training experiences for new hires within surgical support roles; develop training content and materials; deliver training; attend surgeries throughout the US as needs require. This position reports to the manager of surgical education for MED-EL North America.
Minimum of a Master’s Degree or equivalent in an area of study that can serve as a foundation for work in hearing disorders and/or hearing health care OR a Bachelor’s degree in an area of study that contributes to surgical support for Otologists, and a minimum of 3 years’ experience with hearing implants.
Ability to relocate to the Raleigh-Durham area is preferred
Experience with MED-EL products is preferred
