So what do you want to do with the rest of your life? It’s a question we have all been asked since we were kids. But what about you? What about now? You are an experienced ASHA Certified Speech-Language Pathologist whose bag of tricks overflows. But maybe that’s the problem. While you still love the kids, you would like some new challenges in your professional life. Some more clinical variety and the ability to pay forward your knowledge to others. But how do you do that in the same old school district? Perhaps it’s time for some new opportunities.....to step outside of the hum-drum, same old slightly boring I-can-do-it in my sleep job you have.
Boothby Therapy Services is different. Founded and still senior managed by a speech-language pathologist, we have grown to be the largest provider of related services (Speech, OT, AAC, TVI, AT, O+M) in NH/VT. Why would more than 60 clinicians invest their time, passion and intellectual curiosity in BTS? You are one of the reasons why and you don’t even know it yet. We have dedicated, experienced, dynamic Related Services Managers whose job is to manage, teach, lead, commiserate, train, problem solve and hold people responsible for the quality of the therapy provided.
It’s not an easy job because our expectations for ourselves, our clinicians and our school partners remain high. Your job is to take good clinicians and make them great. To read and direct the re-write on evaluations for Clinical Fellows. To find cutting edge Continuing Education topics that push our therapy and results for kids to new levels of success. To define caseload needs, staffing patterns and the corresponding budget implications for our school partners using our proprietary Data Driven Needs Analysis. To consult as an expert in the provision of related services in schools, redefine eligibility criteria, implement push-in services, craft RTI implementation that actually works, provide ongoing training for school administration that results in lower special education utilization and higher morale for staff.
Scared you off? Don’t know if you have it in you? Ok, then don’t apply. But, if you are ready for the change that makes the next stage in your professional life as fulfilling as you NEED IT TO BE………feel that you can be a rockstar manager on a bigger stage………can handle the pressure of the job because you can’t handle the thought of letting your clinicians and their kids down..………then give us a call and let's talk.
