The Cochlear Implant Consumer Specialist is responsible for affecting consumer device choice. They positively influence device choice through interaction with candidate. Additionally, this role will be responsible for providing a Spanish Language Bionic Ear Association (BEA) Services presence in North America.
Consumer Programs & Education
Through careful interaction with people who are inquiring about cochlear implants and strategic use of the consumer sales process, counsel and lead these people to select AB as their product choice. In either English or Spanish languages.
Support potential Spanish language candidates or recipients who may contact the company in various ways seeking general information.
Take part in the planning and execution of consumer webinars and other online events.
Collaboratively plan and implement promotion of Spanish language AB products and services and corresponding marketing materials.
Identify and report consumer complaints in our complaint tracking system.
Timely data entry of sales communications and execution of the sales processes.
Daily BEA Services On-Call Support
Support potential Spanish language candidates who may contact the company in various ways seeking information.
Manage BEA email and CRM queues daily.
Manage call center daily.
Provide appropriate troubleshooting support in English or Spanish.
Daily management of both English and Spanish Hearing Journey sites.
Review and report on Hearing Journey Chat log.
The ability to complete work independently and collaborate on a team.
Have strong verbal and written communication in both English and Spanish.
Ability to interact courteously and professionally when representing Advanced Bionics on line or on the phone.
Ability to travel occasionally to support approved consumer facing sales initiatives where Spanish language participation would be needed.
Ability to travel for training purposes.
Ability to persuade others while maintaining integrity and mutual respect
Must work in collaboration with Director of Sales and Market Development, Manager Consumer Programs and Education, Coordinator Consumer Sales Operations, Area Directors, Cochlear Implant Consumer Specialists, Marketing Communications, Technical Services, and Customer Service
Experience in implementing sales techniques is preferred
