The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Illinois State University is seeking applications for the position of Chair, preferably to begin on July 1, 2010. The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders is located in the College of Arts and Sciences. The Department serves nearly 200 undergraduate students in speech- language pathology and audiology. It also offers a master’s degree in speech-language pathology and a Clinical Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.). Both graduate programs are CAA accredited through 2013. The speech language pathology program is also NCATE accredited. In addition, the Department houses the Eckelmann-Taylor Speech and Hearing Clinic, one of the largest clinics in the Midwest.
