Job Description

Speech-Language Pathology or Related Field - Open Rank Tenure Track or Tenured Professor

The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Emerson College seeks to fill a tenure-track or tenured faculty position with primary expertise in the area of Speech-Language Pathology or a related field. Required qualifications are 1) a completed doctorate in Speech and Hearing Science, Communication Disorders, or a related discipline, 2) a record of excellence in teaching, and 3) expertise in their field of research that is demonstrated by an established record of research in any area of Communication Sciences and Disorders. A record of extramural funding for research activities is desired. The successful applicant will be expected to conduct research in her/his area of expertise, seek extramural funding for research activities, teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses, advise graduate students, and participate in related scholarly activities. Appointment begins September 1, 2010.
