Job Description
Position Description Assistant Professor of Communication Disorders (Tenure-Track)

Academic and Certification Qualifications: The applicants should possess an earned doctorate in Communication Sciences and Disorders. ABD considered with stipulations. Interests in organic and/or neurological disorders preferred. The applicant should possess the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology and hold, or be eligible for, Texas certification as a speech-language pathologist.

Expectations: This position calls for teaching two to three courses per semester, clinical supervision, and developing and implementing an active research agenda. The person who assumes this position will help take a leadership role in the continuing development of a graduate program in Communication Sciences and Disorders at TAMIU and in the graduate Texas A&M University System Communication Sciences and Disorders Consortium (TAMUS-CSDC).
