Sign-on Bonus/Relocation of $5,000. Full-time position available for a Speech-Language Pathologist, CCC-SLP or CF-SLP in post-acute brain injury rehab clinic founded in 1980 by speech-language pathologists. Centre for Neuro Skills (CNS) provides medical treatment, rehabilitation and disease management for individuals with brain injury while pursuing and advancing the best of clinical treatment, education and research. Our staff clinician is responsible for supervising and participating in the application of a variety of speech and cognitive therapeutic techniques for the rehabilitation of TBI clients, who may have cognitive difficulties, dysarthria, apraxia, dysfluency, dysphasia. Staff member must be enthusiastic, flexible and a team-player. The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. (no weekends or evenings) in our beautiful, newly remodeled Bakersfield, CA clinic. Bakersfield is a mid-sized city large enough to offer all the advantages of a metropolitan area but small enough to provide a strong sense of community and neighborhood. Requirements |
|
|
Master's in Communications Disorders/Speech, CCC-SLP or CF-SLP, experience with TBI helpful, bilingual in Spanish a plus! Our population is mostly adults, but experience with pediatrics or adolescents also a plus!
